This document defines terms, abbreviations, and acronyms for the connected and automated mobility (CAM) sector, focused on those relating to vehicles and associated technologies.

It covers terms relating to connectivity and automation of roadgoing, land-based vehicles and their users¹⁾. It does not cover terms that are manufacturer-specific.

This document is for use by insurers, regulators, legislators and organizations involved in CAMinfrastructure, as well as CAM manufacturers, operators and consumers.
