Provide marine recommendations intended for selection and installation of equipment on vessels with electric apparatus.

Purpose

Recommendations to define present-day engineering practices with reference to safety of personnel and of the ship itself. Attention is directed to other standards and requlations for electric installations on shipboard such as those promulgated by Government Regulartory Agencies and Intergovernmental Maritime Organizations.

Abstract
