Work schedule issues included:too many vacancies;recruitment problem due to shortage of certified operatorsnationwide;too many weekdays off rather than the preferred weekend off; and,"over-utilization" of relief operators to cover vacancies. The labor management process is outlined, along with Hyperion Operations Scheduling Alternative Study (HOSAS) discussions, and the advantages of the new scheduleversus the old schedule.
