Full Description

Conjunctive use operations have been used for over sixty years in Tacoma, Washington. The management of groundwater and surface water resources has been necessary to meet the summer demands and for meeting water quality standards when the river source became too turbid. Several additional projects are currently proposed to apply conjunctive use strategies for optimizing the yield of the area's water resources.
