Full Description

The Contra Costa Water District successfully completed the installation of a SCADA System which included a great deal of District involvement. The system is used to operate a 50 mile long Canal and a Treated Water Distribution System all covering approximately 200 square miles. Requirement analysis, procurement of system hardware and software, instrumentation pre-purchase and installation, control center remodeling, training and database generation, and the communication system are summarized.
