Full Description

In response to rapidly increasing need for drinking water, the City of Suffolk concluded years of planning with the completion and operation of the first municipal electrodialysis reversal (EDR) desalination plant in Virginia. The EDR plant has proven to be a flexible and cost effective water supply which is easy to operate and should serve Suffolk well for many years. Results from the feasibility study, pilot scale operations, facility design and system performance are given.
