Urban planners worldwide can take advantage of releasingexpansive acreage dedicated to conventional well fields, to greater urban use byconstructing singular radial collectors. This paper presents a brief history ofradial collector wells and discusses their current use and recent engineeringadvancements that make them attractive, especially for industrial use.
