An interdisciplinary survey team composed of specialists in water quality, silviculture, agricultural economy, agricultural engineering, and anthropology undertook a survey of two provinces in Thailand to assess the successes and shortcomings of resettlement programs. This article describes the interdisciplinary approach used in the study and results of the survey relating to water resources and watershed management. Includes 19 references, table, figures.
