Full Description
In this study microbial and physical-chemical data are analyzed statistically to determine whether variations in microbial dynamics are related to variations in physicochemical variables. These data include endotoxin, standard plate count, membrane standard plate count, acid-fast organism, temperature, total organic carbon, free and total chlorine, turbidity, and pH measurements of samples collected from two water distribution systems. The results of the statistical analyses do not support the hypotheses that the physicochemical measurements would suffice to produce reliable predictions of microbial water quality. Includes 14 references, tables. Product Details
