Full Description
Efforts to test and demonstrate water conservation devices are often limited by inadequate monitoring and nonstandard evaluations. Independent tests are duplicative and delay conservation program implementation, but have been required because of a lack of good performance data for many water conservation devices and fixtures. Some information on the performance of these devices is now available and is discussed in this article. Water reduction efficiency, installation problems, costs, toilet devices, shower devices, faucet devices, testing programs, setting flow rates, automatic washing machines, leak detection tablets, pressure-reducing valves, and spray taps are covered. Includes 10 references, tables. Product Details
