Full Description
The application of ozone to a water treatment process stream, as demonstrated by the Monroe, Michigan ozonation facilities for taste and odor control, requires certain basic elements, regardless of the purpose for which ozone is applied. Ozone generators, contactors, and controls in a plant employing ozone for bacterial disinfection might be identical to those of a facility ozonating for odor and taste destruction or oxidation of iron and manganese. Moreover, the problems, capital and operating costs, maintenance demands, and safety considerations would be similar. Design, housing, personnel training, and amortization are discussed. Includes 9 references, tables, figure. Product Details
