The certification of visual welding supervisors requires documentation of experience, satisfactory completion of an examination, and proof of visual acuity. The examination tests the supervisor's knowledge of welding processes, welding procedures, destructive tests, terms, definitions, symbols, reports, safety and responsibilities.
