This Standard contains sanitation requirements for new thermoplastic refuse containers intended for the indoorand outdoor storage of refuse.Thermoplastic refuse container materials and components covered under other NSF or NSF/ANSI Standardsor Criteria shall also comply with the requirements therein. This Standard is not intended to restrict new unitdesign, provided that such design meets the minimum specifications described herein.
